One of the problems of current EEG device is that constrain of place. Constrainst of place is significantly restricting potential applications, e.g. a mobile narcolepsy monitor. Although we can substitute with portable processing units or wireless connections, but does not help with the psychological barrier. In short, the hardware sabotages people's incentive to use EEG. Therefore, we are going to design and build a low-profile EEG cap for consumers' daily use in public space, with the purpose of eventually turning the EEG systems from distincitve, research-limited equipment into popular, fashionable headgears.
